The Gathering
Light it before they arrive.
Everything in The Setting, and the Cypress Dusk candle we pour ourselves — cedar, smoke, and something like the smell of a house where a fire has already been lit. Put a match to it twenty minutes before the door goes, and the room is ready before you are.
Who it is for
The gift you give when it actually matters. Also the one you buy for someone else and then quietly keep.
