So we may be starting a new trend here. This is a classic chocolate chip cookie with the rich flavors of Calicutts Vanilla Bean Sugar. But, that is not that trend. While this is a die-for cookie, it also is a fun one to look at. Simply scoop with a miniature ice cream scoop for that look of baked cookie dough scoops. Either way, save some for yourself because they will be gone before you blink!
Preheat oven to 375 and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a stand mixer or large bowl with hand mixer, combine
butter and sugars until creamed, about 1-2 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla
until fluffy, about 1 minute. Slowly add dry ingredients. Mix until just
combined, making sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl every now and again.
When incorporated, add chocolate chips.
Using a small cookie ice cream scoop or spoon, scoop an overflowing amount of cookie dough and place onto baking sheet. Repeat placing dough approximately 2” apart. Bake in heated oven for 8-10 minutes until just barely brown. Let rest for 2 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
