Chinese Five-Spice

Tastes Like:  Cinnamon - Anise - Fennel - Clove

Rooted in the traditions of ancient Chinese philosophy, our interpretation of Chinese Five-Spice is inspired by the urge to seek a balance between extremes, working to reach a harmonious whole. This blend is built around the sweetness of Anise and Cinnamon, while Fennel and Clove provide a soft bitterness, and Peppercorn incorporates a round earthiness. Mixed together, this blend showcases profound flavor depth, striking a capable balance of sweet, bitter, and earthy tastes.

Jessica's Tips:  My husband loves pho and this is a quick way to develop the flavors with little effort.
