Indian Garam Masala
Tastes Like: Coriander - Cumin - Cardamom - Cinnamon
In Hindi, “masala” refers to a mixture of spices, while “garam” conveys warmth. Thus, Garam Masala is a warm blend of spices. Our interpretation of this traditional blend is most closely associated with the Punjab region of Northern India. We start by mixing Green Cardamom, Coriander, Cumin, Peppercorn, Bay Leaf, Star Anise, Nigella, Clove, Nutmeg, and Cinnamon stick to create this truly authentic spice blend.
Jessica's Tips: This is my absolute favorite as a dry rub on short ribs mixed with a little brown sugar.
