Posted by Jessica Hughes on

  • Bone-in Pork Chops (2)
  • Vermont Maple Spice Blend (2 Tbsp)
  • Olive Oil (2 Tbsp)
  • Salted Butter (3 Tbsp)
  • Garlic, minced (2 cloves)
  • Apple Butter (2 Tbsp)
  • Honeycrisp Apple, cut in wedges (1)
  • Brussel Sprouts (1.5 cup)

  1. Preheat broiler to high.
  2. Heat skillet over medium high heat. Season porkchops with Vermont Maple on both sizes. Add the olive oil to the skillet, when the oil simmers, add the pork and sear on both sides for 2-3 minutes. Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for 5 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Remove pork from pan and spread apple butter on top. Set aside.
  4. To the skillet add butter, garlic, apples and brussel sprouts. Cook 5-8 minutes until apples and brussels are almost cooked. Slide pork back into skillet and place under broiler for 2-3 minutes until apples and brussel sprouts are lightly charred.
  5. Remove from oven spoon butter at bottom of skillet on top of pork chop and enjoy!
